The Mental Health and Productivity Pilot (MHPP) was a 4-year funded programme that closed in March 2024. MHPP supported more than 1130 Midlands organisations to improve mental wellbeing in the workplace, reaching 800,000 employees and contributing to the growth of our region.
MHPP is now closed but Midlands businesses and organisations can still go to our partners for free support and guidance.
The Mental Health at Work Commitment is a simple framework that offers organisations a way to publicly declare that mental health is a priority. It’s based on the Thriving at Work standards, pulling from the pledges and standards that are already out there, using up-to-date research, from UK employers and mental health experts.
We believe the Mental Health at Work Commitment, and the standards which underpin it, are a roadmap to achieving better mental health outcomes for those in work. It’s a set of actions that any organisation can follow to improve and support the mental health of their people.
The Mental Health at Work website will close in June 2024. However, you will still be able to sign up and receive support to implement the Mental Health at Work Commitment after that date. For more information, please visit https://www.mentalhealthatwork.org.uk.
The Thrive at Work programme is a workplace accreditation scheme with criteria and guidelines on creating a workplace that promotes employee health and wellbeing, focusing on key enablers of health such as attendance management, policies and procedures as well as health areas such as mental, musculoskeletal and physical health and promoting healthy lifestyles.
The framework can be followed to gain accreditation and achieve the Thrive at Work Wellbeing Award.
